The Apron Derby Boot is an iconic example of their practical-meets-refined approach. The name refers to the way the leather of the shoe meets at the toebox, creating a ridged effect that resembles an apron resting on top of the vamp — a classic British design element. These boots feature a suede upper and sturdy, Goodyear-welted Crepe sole.
Sanders & Sanders was established in 1873 by brothers William and Thomas Sanders of Rushden, Northamptonshire. What began as a five-person workshop grew over the years to become one of England’s most renowned shoe factories. Today, the business is in the hands of the fifth generation of Sanders’, who are still producing their exceptionally high-quality boots out of the same Spencer Road factory they’ve been in since 1924.
