Todd’s reimagining of it keeps many of the same utility details, including double needle stitching and reinforced knees. But it also features a few elements normally found in more sartorial trousers, like pleats adjustable side tabs at the waist. The full, stovepipe leg looks best styled with a big, turned-up cuff — just throw on your favorite tee and a comfy sweater or sweatshirt to complete the look.

Materials & Care

Woven in Portugal from 100% cotton, this fabric is a dense, heavyweight twill with a clearly defined diagonal weave. It has with the same rugged, military surplus-meets-workwear sensibility as denim. Its substantial weight and tight construction make it naturally abrasion-resistant and durable, suited to the demands of a utilitarian pant. Garment-dyed for a lived-in finish, it's a fabric that only gets better with use.
