Japanese Chambray Overshirt in Off White

Overall a well constructed shirt. But watch for inconsistencies. Mine started to develop a bulge in the placket where the fabric was improperly rolled under a seam. I didn’t notice it until I had worn it for a few hours. It got worse with time. I asked TS for an exchange and a return label as social with the complaint do I could return a shirt that had been worn. Silence. Pretty expensive dust cloth I purchased. Oh well.

At 6’1”, 180 lbs. and sculpted, a Large fits more like a Tailored Fit, than the Standard Fit listed in the description. The fabric and color are excellent, and I particularly like the navy stitching and buttons, versus the white used in every chambray shirt I’ve come across. Two things of note are the pleats just above the cuffs, and a second seam on the back of the sleeves, which I can only assume exist to reduce the width of the sleeve. The pleats aren’t that big of a deal, as I either roll my cuffs or wear a sports coat with them buttoned. The second seam on the other hand, hits right at the elbow, so when resting your elbows on a table, it can be annoying. I’d suggest losing both in any future versions of the shirt.

I love my new black chambray shirt! It feels like a slightly fitted fit (not ideal for those of us who gained the COVID 19) but I don’t want to go up to XL. Overall, high quality and very attractive.

I really love this shirt - it is a very unique stand out fabric and style - not exactly classic denim, not exactly classic looking chambray. It is right in the sweet spot between casual and dressier. The color is also very unique - a washed denim shade but with a richness to it. And lastly, the fit is perfect and flattering - nice slim line but not too snug either (Im 6ft, 175 and the Medium is spot on).

Great Shirt - nice color and comfortable.
