This luxurious (and surprisingly versatile) vintage-inspired style is made from a fine, Italian merino wool that comes to us from the famous Tollegno mill. Merino is a great transitional choice — lightweight, soft and perfect for layering. The body of the sweater is a Jersey stitch, and the buttons are genuine shell. One of our favorite design details: the two-color tipping at the collar, chest pocket and placket. Wear it on its own for an easy outfit upgrade, or layer under a shirt jacket or coat to give your look a little extra pop.

Style (Check) Substance (Zero)

This Merino Tipped Polo looks great and feels great; however, after just one wear (no wash), a pea-size hole appeared near the shoulder. Upon closer inspection in the light, the material is fraying and on the verge of tearing in several spots. I called customer service, and a replacement is on the way. My fingers are crossed with the hope I just got a lemon. It really is a great looking sweater…
