This luxurious (and surprisingly versatile) vintage-inspired style is made from a fine, Italian merino wool that comes to us from the famous Tollegno mill. Merino is a great transitional choice — lightweight, soft and perfect for layering. The body of the sweater is a Jersey stitch, and the buttons are genuine shell. One of our favorite design details: the two-color tipping at the collar, chest pocket and placket. Wear it on its own for an easy outfit upgrade, or layer under a shirt jacket or coat to give your look a little extra pop.
Tollegno 1900 (founded in its eponymous year) is committed to sustainability and innovation. They integrated the entire production chain — from raw materials to spinning to weaving — in pursuit of continuing Italy’s Biellese wool textile tradition.
I wore this with no undershirt and my nips showed, but other than that, great fit

It is too light to wear without a shirt underneath. It is practically see-through, so it has to be a long sleeved shirt underneath.
