Our traditional chore coat gets an update in a sartorial Italian fabric; think of this as “tailored workwear.” The basic silhouette — clean lines and three patch pockets — remains the same, but we’ve updated this utilitarian classic with a butterfly lining, slimmer fit and a slight lapel roll at the collar, all elements more typically found in a sport coat or blazer. And about that fabric: woven from a wool blend, different indigo-hued plaids are patchworked together for a unique, artisanal look. There’s a matching pair of Officer Chinos, but to be honest, we like it best all on its own with denim, layered over a turtleneck or crew.
