Inspired by a vintage British military style, our modern update includes a double-pleated front and an adjustable, self-belted waist that’s meant to sit slightly higher than a typical chino. The fit is relaxed through the upper section of the trouser and tailored through the leg. The fabric is handsome, brushed cotton twill with a super-soft feel that will see you between seasons.
Tucked away in the heart of the Alps, the family-run Tessuti di Sondrio mill was founded in 1895 and is one of Italy’s most experienced and revered cotton fabric weavers. The region’s incredible resources play a part in the creation of the mill’s exceptional product. It’s no surprise, then, that the Sondrio philosophy marries a drive towards innovation with respect for nature.
I was surprised and pleased by how solidly constructed these trousers are. The workmanship is top notch.
The fabric is substantial, and a beautiful rich cream color. I am sure I will get many years of wear from these trousers.
