Guanábana hats are handmade by artisans using the iraca weaving technique, typical of Colombian tradition. The iraca, or toquiilla straw, is a natural fiber that comes from the "Carludovica palmata", from whose leaves are obtained some fine threads that are dyed to give them color. Once dry, the artisans weave the threads with the different colors to give form to the hats. It also includes one of Guanábana's timeless hat bands, which mixes the latest trends with ethnic-inspired prints and a touch of casablanca.
