Cotton Nylon CPO Jacket in Stone

Todd Snyder

This smart shirt jacket takes its name from the U.S. Navy’s Chief Petty Officers (or CPOs), to whom it was issued in the 1930s. A classic layer with practical beginnings, it’s become a menswear staple thanks to its versatility as a layer. Our take is crafted from a premium Italian fabric — the water-resistant cotton-nylon blend from the experts at Olmetex has a soft-but-dry feel that falls somewhere between suede and canvas. The slightly oversized fit works well over everything from a tee to a light sweater. Additional details include six roomy pockets, adjustable cuffs, and zig-zag stitching at the collar.

A world-renowned mill, Olmetex sets the standard for technical fabrics. Established in 1954, the Como-based textile business is defined by its commitment to innovative, high-quality, sustainably-made fabrics.
