This rugged take on the Fisherman Sweater sits somewhere between a turtleneck and a crew neck with a low-key 2.25-inch collar. When we introduced this sweater in a heavyweight merino wool, it became a fan favorite. So, our design team created a lighter weight version in an Italian cotton-linen blend that’s perfect for spring. Have bought numerous items from you guys, but this item, truly sucks .
I love the look of this garment and the fabric however it was really oversized compared to everything else I've bought at TS and it would have been great to have been told to order a size down. Also, the description says it was made in Italy and my garment says it was made in China, a country whose products I'm looking to avoid for a lot of reasons.
Love this one--my normal size of XL was sold out so I nabbed the last L going on the previous reviews advising it runs big; I gambled and I won, as it's a perfect fit. Alluring color that looks even better than the photo s depict. The only detraction is that it's actually made in China and not Italy--Todd is a naughty boy!
Like late Summer rolling thunder, I’ve found every time I’ve worn this sweater that compliments roll in—always by women, even other than my wife! So possibly one might run into trouble with this sweater, fending off flirtation when one’s spouse is present, which is not too hard with practice. The color is a deep super saturated blue indigo, that’s jewel like. My wife calls it a chick magnet. It looks dressy under a sport coat and great alone with jeans. The washing machine has a delicate hand-wash setting which I use, then dry it flat. After eight stinkin’ washings, there’s no fading and perfect shape. It could also be easily washed by hand with Woolite. Like everything I’ve purchased from TS, it fits perfectly and makes me feel like Jean-Paul Belmondo.
I love this sweater. I bought it in the aqua color as well. It runs a little big. If you are looking for a slouchy, comfy, cozy sweater this is it. It has a very “made it myself” look. The knit is beautiful and the color is rich. I want it in every color.
