Inspired by archival styles, this hoodie is an homage to a few of the vintage collegiate sweatshirts Todd’s known and loved over the years. He’s given the classic pullover a luxe upgrade in French terry with a dense-but-soft feel. Retro details include a detached kangaroo pocket (which refers to the fact that it doesn’t extend to the hem) and a contrasting “after” hood designed to look like it was stitched onto a standard crewneck after the fact. All in all, it’s a new season staple ready to wear hanging at home, out to the gym or to a weekend hang with your crew.
This piece is made at WS, a family-owned factory outside Toronto that has made sweatshirts the old-fashioned way for decades.
I own several hoodies and this is fast becoming my fav. Texture is different than other TS hoodies. Not quite as soft but still comfortable. The pitch black with grey contrast is a brilliant mix and adds presence and depth to the hoodie. Well made, per the TS standards.
