I would have immediately returned this if I paid MSRP. At clearance, I find it acceptably priced.
For starters, this is old-school itchy. Which is particularly strange given this is only 65% wool combined with other fibers that are typically used to soften it up. This could very well be a shirt that softens up with use but I would wear a long sleeve under it if you have sensitive skin.
The fit is a little strange. The cut of the shirt is "fitted", so layering isn't really an option beyond an undershirt. This shirt cannot be tucked in due to it's length (unless you wear your pants rather high).
Laundering, this is "dry clean only." But I suspect that this would survive many wool-setting washings.
That said, the shirt has an old-school charm to it. Something that your grandpa wore in the fall.
