The sweaters in La Buena Vida are all inspired by mid-century styles, layering in different old-school details: an extra tab closure at the hem, tapered waists, extended collars, vintage-inspired patterns, and more.

The double-prong buckles and leather make for an attractive visual update to the classic Arizona which many of us have probably owned at some point. In all other respects, they are just like every other Birkenstock - same classic tread and footbed. For those who have not already owned Birkenstocks: it is not for nothing that they are such a long-lived and iconic brand. Comfortable and quite durable. And when the sole gives up, or even the footbed, they can be resoled or even fully-recrafted with a new footbed.
