A new addition to our line-up of workwear-inspired third pieces. This is an update on our popular Bedford Cord Chore Coat. The silhouette is inspired by a vintage carpenter’s jacket and features two chest pockets and two hand pockets. The placket and chest pockets feature shank styles buttons similar to what you’d find on a jean jacket, and it features double-needle stitching (a classic workwear detail that makes the seams durable). The fabric is Bedford Cord, which is not as ridge-y as classic corduroy. Instead, it has a handfeel similar to a cotton canvas. So, this is a great style to wear under a coat when it is frigid, layer over a sweater when it is cool, or use as a cooler alternative to a windbreaker or sportcoat when the weather is mild.

Great fabric. A little snug in the shoulders even with the XXL
The fabric is great and the cut is sharper than you would expect from a chore coat.
Looks great with denim and chinos.
