While the website reads "Please note: L.L. Bean x Todd Snyder Collection styles have an intentionally trimmer fit. If you prefer a roomier fit, please order one size up from you usual size. ", this is not the case. I wear Large in everything. I ordered this in a large because I thought it would have a "trimmer" fit by not sizing up. It is actually quite loose and roomy, and for once, I may exchange it to go down to a Medium for a true trimmer fit. So for this particular piece, do not size up, and if you want something truly slimmer, size down.

I'm only giving it 4 stars due to the sizing misrepresentation.

I know the description says to size up for a roomier fit. I wear Medium or Large-slim in most shirts. The large was tiny! I could barely get the buttons closed, had to return it.

Looking forward to layering this with everything this winter.

This shirt jacket is great for hikes and evening campfires at our cabin in the Virginia Blue Ridge Mountains.
