Founded in 2013 by Mickey Ashmore out of his New York City apartment, Sabah’s traditional leather shoes are handmade in Gaziantep, Turkey using traditional local techniques. They’re comfortable, versatile and easily packable for weekend getaways.
The name, Sabah, literally means “morning time” in Turkish, and is Mickey’s favorite time of day. Sabah’s SoHo shop is a transportive experience unto itself, and the shoes — versatile, comfortableand chic — have acquired a cult following.
Says Sabah founder Mickey Ashmore, "We've never made a Sabah quite like this before. I think the stitching along the upper gives them a subtle, but really beautiful point of difference and is a strong nod to the artisanship found in both of our brands."
