Inspired by a vintage French military trouser, this rugged pant combines two things we love — an oversized fit and a pleated trouser. The fabric is a chunky, velvety corduroy that comes to us from the renowned Duca Visconti mill in Italy (and matches back to our Professor Jacket, if you’re in the market for a relaxed take on a suit). A button fly with melamine buttons enhances the retro feel. The fit is slightly slouchy up top, with a relatively high rise; the pant legs are not fully blown out, and have some shape to them.
Duca Visconti is a famed Italian mill in the foothills of the alps that’s been making corduroy, velvet and other exceptionally well-crafted fabrics for nearly 200 years.
