Sherpa fleece was first developed in Massachusetts in 1979 as a synthetic alternative to shearling that’s lighter, stronger and quicker to dry than the original. We searched the world over for the best fleece we could find, and found it at an Italian mill. This is a great looking fleece that is amazingly warm for how light it is. Nicely made and detailed. I would say however that it runs large. All of my other fleece jackets are a size medium but I followed the sizing chart and ordered this in a small, which is still pretty loose fitting.
Stylish jacket. Would have preferred a tighter fit and more comfy interior.
Really wanted to like this, but the size runs large. What's worse is the sleeve cuff isn't a good quality -
the material is easily stretched out and stays loose with only a few occasions of wearing (and that's with me already being mindful of not overly stretching the cuff.)
I really liked the jacket and normally wear an XL in most everything. This jacket ran SO large that it seemed easily a 2XL. I gave it to my spouse who was 2XL and fit great.
