Growing up in North Carolina, Mark McNairy’s first job was selling clothes even though he really didn’t like selling clothes. He moved to New York and became a self-taught designer, learning the process from shopping, examining the details and digging around factories. He has had his own line since 2009 yet has found the time to be the creative director for Woolrich Woolen Mills, J. Press and Bee Line, a collaboration with Pharrell Williams. He has been named GQ’s Best New Menswear Designer in America. He is the author of the style guide F**K Ivy And Everything Else and fond of bold, sartorial pronouncements such as “My style has evolved from being afraid to express my real feelings to simply not giving a fuck.”
