Sherpa fleece was first developed as a synthetic alternative to shearling that was lighter, stronger and quicker to dry than the original. We searched the world over for the best possible version and found it at an Italian mill. Here, Todd used both sides of the fleece to create a tonal patchwork effect (think textural color-blocking) in an update on the classic. The design details — oversized twill chest pockets, a two-way zipper, and stretch binding to cinch in the hem and cuffs — complete this modern take on vintage mountaineering gear. With a generous fit made for easy layering and the perfect, bundled-up silhouette, it’s bound to become your new cold-weather staple.

I have a previous version of this product. It's a beautiful jacket but it will peel like crazy and get on everything around you (shirt you're wearing, your friend's coat that was hanging next, etc).
Love this jacket, but it sheds fibers on your clothing. Hopefully, this goes away soon!
Jacket is exceptionally well-made and warm, and it is exactly as described and what I was looking for - a jacket that was not a bomber jacket in any way. The size is true, and I have gotten many compliments on it the short time I have had it. There is room enough to layer it with a sweater, but it is light enough to wear when it is only a little cool, which is perfect for our weather in the South. It is something I can wear for years to come.
The Sherpa felt like an unseasonably warm Winter's day or a proper glass of whiskey.

I absolutely adore this jacket. Every time I wear it, I’m practically guaranteed to receive a compliment. It’s incredibly soft and warm, but the double zipper makes it easy to adjust when it gets too hot. I love the relaxed fit and the casual style. Excellent for traveling, it easily compresses in the luggage.
