Our Japanese Stretch Selvedge jeans are designed to convert even the most resolute denim purists. They’re made from a unique denim that’s comfortable and easy to wear, but still has all the durable, quality detailing you’d expect. A special Todd detail: the Snyder Olive thread used in the stitching, as opposed to the typical gold.

This selvedge denim is made in Japan, renowned for its quality denim the world over. "Selvedge" refers to a type of denim woven on special vintage shuttle looms in small batches, identified by the red ticking at the outseams. Made using traditional techniques, it's known for its durability and character. Ours has a touch of stretch added, for comfort — here, it’s dyed with natural indigo and given a resin rinse for a clean, flat, dark appearance resembling raw denim (without the added stiffness and break-in time).
