Converse and Todd have joined forces again to create a new capsule that’s a thoroughly modern mashup of streetwear (hoodies, joggers) and traditional gentleman's fabrics (tartans, velours and British Millerain’s water-resistant waxed cotton). The collection, which includes rugby shirts, cardigans and trench coats, also features two Converse icons—the Chuck 70 and Jack Purcell—that are remade in a fabric more typically found on field clothing.
This long sleeve polo combines the old-school sportiness of a rugby shirt with an on-trend, sartorial velour fabric. Design details include tipping on the cuffs and collar plus a subtle Jack Purcell logo on the chest pocket. The collars and cuffs are in a heathered gray color–a hue that appears throughout the collection.
This is my first TS review. But I've made many purchases lately. It took me a minute to figure out sizing. You know how online shopping can be. I am so pleased with my purchases and the quality is fantastic! So is the customer service. I'm a total fan. And this velour garment is so comfy and stylish! I love it. Thanks TS!
It is hard to tell from the photos because these look different in different lighting, but the main color is a greenish tan (taupe). The arms and collar are dark grey. It all clashes a bit, but this is a really nice piece otherwise. Very soft and luxurious. It has a loose fit.
