Linen is made from the fibers of the flax plant. Our linen shirts receive an ultra-fine finish that gives the fabric an airy feeling and clean look. Finally, a special cold wash prevents the fabric from shrinking and helps break in the naturally stiff fibers, giving the linen an easy drape and soft handfeel.

The Baird family business was established in 1912 on Ireland’s picturesque northwest coast in Donegal. Today, Baird McNutt produces some of the world’s finest linen out of the Shankbridge dyeing and finishing works, which were originally built in 1798.
