Shorts are well made and fit fairly true to size. I am a 32" waist - ordered a 32". There is still a good amount of room in the actual waste but the hip fits standard and the leg is roomier so as not to be constrictive like 99% shorts out there today. May have been able to get away with a 31" but purchased on final sale so keeping these. Length is just above the knee and the matching belt is a nice touch.

Was looking for a pair of high rise, relaxed fit shorts, and these are spot on. The belt is a cool idea but I prefer it removed, creating a more traditional look. They remind me of a great vintage pair of relaxed pleated shorts from the 90s, but more refined. Classic and refined…hallmarks of the brand. Color is great too, closer to stone than khaki, almost gray. Big fan.
