Inspired by an archival Champion style, this classic Ringer Tee is made from a heavyweight all-cotton Jersey. “Ringers” were first worn in collegiate athletic competitions post-WWII, before becoming a favorite of rock-and-rollers in the 70s. We like to think our take, with its iconic contrasting “rings,” a clean finish and double-needle stitching, still straddles that sporty-cool divide with ease.

Not like the original ringer tees

I own a few ringer tees from a few years ago. They were light weight. The new version is stiffer and does not lay right. Was hopeful this would be just like the older ones.

Hi Richard,

We're sorry to hear that the fabric of this ringer tee was not to your liking. Kindly note that this tee is made from a midweight fabric instead of lightweight as we moving over to fall. As an alternative we have a lighter weight ringer tee with the CHAMPION RINGER TEE IN WHITE that can be found online. Lighter weight ringer tees will be back in Spring.
