Nothing — truly nothing — says summer like a good linen shirt…and this one is absolute perfection. Quality linen feels as good as it looks, airy and cool and crisp, with a subtle texture. Our linen comes from the renowned Baird McNutt, one of Ireland’s oldest and last remaining linen mills. The silhouette and detailing on this shirt echo our bestselling Camp Collar Shirts — a single chest pocket, standard fit, straight hem, side seam gussets, and locker loop. Piece-dyed and washed for exceptional softness, it’s bound to become your new warm-weather staple.
The Baird family business was established in 1912 on Ireland’s picturesque northwest coast, in Donegal. Nearly 80 years later, the company acquired the Shankbridge dyeing and finishing works, which itself was originally built in 1798. Today, a respect for traditional methods and a drive to innovate has positioned Baird McNutt as the producer of the world’s finest Irish linen.

The sweaters in La Buena Vida are all inspired by mid-century styles, layering in different old-school details: an extra tab closure at the hem, tapered waists, extended collars, vintage-inspired patterns, and more.
