Materials & Care

Woven in Italy at Sondrio Mill, this blend of cotton and virgin wool is what’s known as a “jaspe” fabric. Jaspe refers to a textured look (similar to heathering) that’s achieved by twisting together yarns of different tones; the name comes from the French for "jasper," the variegated stone. Here, the effect gives it the look of an indigo-dyed denim or chambray. A brushed finish brings up the fibers slightly for added texture.

  • Fabric from Italy
  • Dry clean only

Tucked away in the heart of the Alps, the family-run Tessuti di Sondrio mill was founded in 1895 and is one of Italy’s most revered cotton fabric weavers.
