Kanata has been handknitting these thick woolen sweaters in Canada for nearly a half century. A winter essential, they’re super chunky and super warm, featuring patterns inspired by traditional heritage designs. Wear one open, or pull up the zipper and tuck your hands into the pockets to keep toasty all season long. Durable enough to double as outerwear, these virtually indestructible sweaters are designed to stand the test of time — you may even hand one off to your kids one day.

Founded in Vancouver in 1979, Kannata is a second-generation family-owned company. They use only the finest quality wool, locally sourced, and each sweater is individually handmade by skilled artisans in their homes, using traditional techniques.

Runway Collection:
La Buena Vida | Vintage Style

Todd’s Spring/Summer 26 runway collection balances structured tailoring and soft sensuality, inspired by the faded glamour of Havana in the 50s and the swagger of a guy stepping off a plane in Miami in the 80s.

The sweaters in La Buena Vida are all inspired by mid-century styles, layering in different old-school details: an extra tab closure at the hem, tapered waists, extended collars, vintage-inspired patterns, and more.

    Pure Aura in Sweater Form.

Wearing this sweater out to dinner was eye opening. It just gives you a huge burst of confidence walking around in something this cool. I'll be wearing this until the wheels come off.

    Excellent Sweater. Great Quality.

I bought and returned this twice before deciding that I had to have it. I then bought it for a third time and ultimately kept it. It's great—the quality is excellent. The key is to SIZE UP when purchasing.

I am usually a M but ending buying and keeping the size L as the medium ran shorter (but still true to size) than I wanted. If you are looking for an oversized chunky sweater, choose one size up from your normal size.

    Classic piece, will wear forever.

    Beautiful quality

A timeless design and exceptional quality. I wear a size 38 suit jacket and the medium fit me perfectly. A really beautiful hand knit piece.
