A classic shirt jacket, in a super luxe fabric — in other words, the epitome of Todd’s rugged-meets-refined aesthetic. Modeled on a vintage twill Woolrich shirt, Todd gave the practical original an upgrade with this super soft Italian cashmere. It features two utility-inspired button-through chest pockets and buttons at the cuffs, too. The placket, collar and pocket flaps are all lined for added durability. With a full, overshirt-style fit this is made for easy layering — go true to size to wear it as a shirt all on its own, or size up for something more in the jacket realm.
Woolrich has been part of the fabric of the American outdoor lifestyle for nearly 200 years; the company provided blankets to Union soldiers during the Civil War and designed the Arctic Parka that kept Admiral Richard E. Byrd warm on Antarctic expeditions. Now, as Creative Director of Woolrich’s Black Label, Todd has designed a collection of rugged yet luxurious takes on the brand’s iconic styles that marry Woolrich’s innovative technical fabrics with sartorial flourishes.
I was eyeing this shirt up as soon as the new TS x Woolrich collaboration was announced. It is a beautiful plaid color and the material is very soft and luxurious. This shirt will be getting a lot of wear in my fall/winter rotation.
