After owing multiple pairs of Alden shoes, this is my first Alden boot and I’m highly impressed by the comfort and versatility of this reverse chamois Indy on commando sole. The commando sole maintains the same level of comfort I’ve loved underfoot in my other Alden shoes. The reverse chamois upper added to the overall comfort as the material needs no break in time and is durable yet not stiff in any way. And this boot is extremely versatile, the chamois is durable and resists water or wear/tear while providing a nicer textured look, and the stitching in the Indy toe reduces the formality of the boot just enough to comfortably compliment any non formal outing. Very happy, was considering she’ll cordovan variants of Alden boots, happy w my choice
