Jan Waszkiewicz and Stanley Zaleski both immigrated to America from Poland shortly after WWII. After meeting on the job at a machine shop in South Boston, they honed their engineering skills and learned the optical trade — in the 70s, they decided to launch their own eyewear business in nearby in Randolph, MA, and Randolph Engineering was born. Soon, they were working closely with the military to create durable and innovative sunglasses for test pilots. Today, the company is still family-owned and -operated, and all the glasses are made in the USA. In short, a great American heritage brand that we are proud to partner with.
