Based on vintage mountaineering gear, the Basecamp Shirt combines two things we love for the ultimate layering piece: soft flannel and toasty warm fleece. The exterior is brushed Portuguese cotton; the interior is lined in plush sherpa. Or, mostly sherpa — the sleeve lining is quilted, to make shrugging it on and off over your sweater or shirt easier. Details include two patch-and-flap chest pockets with snap closures, hidden side-entry hand pockets and durable double needle construction at the seams. I purchased this for my father for Christmas...he LOVES IT! The quality is amazing, the fit is amazing, and it just looks awesome! The size Medium is a perfect fit. For size reference, He's 5'9" and weighs about 150 lbs or so. I originally got him a size Large and it was way too big. The medium is great, and still would allow for some layers underneath if needed, but also fits very well with just a t-shirt. Oh, and the exchange process to switch out the sizes was seamless and super easy, so great customer service.
