Our Camp Collar Shirt effortlessly delivers on every level. Made from breathable cotton with a touch of stretch for comfort, it feels as good as it looks. The eye-catching print was pulled from a 19th-century Currier and Ives piece depicting a clipper ship, the Great Republic, sailing into Cape Cod Bay near Provincetown, Massachusetts where the artist John Derian has a store and spends time in the summer.
This piece is part of a limited-edition capsule collection created by Todd Snyder and Derian. The seaside-themed summer styles are all based on rare 18th- and 19th-century prints from Derian’s archive. “When John and I got together to design our second collection, [he] was talking about his store in Provincetown, MA,” says Snyder. “This Derian-at-the beach direction really appealed to me, and so we started looking at antique prints of harbor scenes and marine life.”
