Sherpa fleece was first developed in Massachusetts in 1979 as a synthetic alternative to shearling that’s lighter, stronger and quicker to dry than the original. We searched the world over for the best fleece we could find, and found it at an Italian mill. It’s perfect in function and fashion- high quality fleece but the pattern provides the perfect eye-catching accent. Sizing is accurate and very comfortable.
This jacket runs pretty large so size down if you don’t want to look like a balloon. Also for the first few wears my shirt underneath got covered on blue fuzz. But the jacket looks super sharp and I’ve received many compliments.
I like this one. Goes with much. The pattern is original. Happy that I I bought in on sale, would have been disappointed at full price. A negative: fabric sheds terribly onto, in my case, a white shirt. Perhaps that will stop after washing.
sleeves a wee bit short
I bought this fleece jacket from the website. Upon receipt it far exceeded my expectations. Great warmth, quality construction, and with apologies to North Face and Patagonia, I won't see another one just like it.
