Rough material
I like the style, but I wasn’t impressed by the feel of the shirt. It also drapes more than I expected. If it was softer and a little more structured I would have kept it (ended up returning.)

Somewhere between a shirt and outerwear lies the Shirt Jacket, a hardworking style that can be worn over a tee when the weather is mild and then layered over a sweater in colder weather. Our version embodies Todd’s rugged-meets-refined aesthetic. The silhouette takes as its inspiration classic field wear and features a point collar, button cuffs and a single chest pocket. The fabric and finishes add a sophisticated polish to the proceedings. The wool fabric comes to us from Italy’s Subalpino, a family-owned mill in the Northern Italian region of Piedmont. The gentlemanly elbow patches are Italian suede, the buttons are horn. It is the sort of style that gets one excited for yard work, long walks in the country or even a coffee run on a crisp morning.

The shirt looks great and is good quality. My only issue is when buttoned up, one side of the shirt hangs about 1/2 inch lower on the front than the other side. At first I assumed I had missed a button hole or something, but nope, either the button hole placement is off or the shirt is not a symmetrical shape because one side definitely hangs longer than the other.
