I originally wanted to purchase the Navy wool/cashmere peacoat, but was confused on sizing given that one reviewer said it way oversized and to go one size down, while in the company's answers to questions it says to go one size up. I provided my measurements via e-mail (I'm a 38 short in sport jackets and either a S or M in coats) and requested the company's advice on sizing. The reply was an XS, but when I wrote back that I want t make sure there would be room for a heavy sweater or down vest, they replied that a S might be better. I then saw that this grey version by a different manufacturer was on sale. The measurements provided by the company for this coat and the navy one are the same so I ordered the S. Its a beautiful coat, but its way to tight. It would be a bit tight with just a T shirt - no way I could wear it with any thing heavier or with any kind of layering. So my one star is not for the coat itself, but for the inability of the company to understand its sizing and to recommend a size that is even close. I guess if I was the same size as the company's models everything might work out OK, but that is not the real world. I'm returning the product and will stick with shopping in store where I can actually try on the clothing.
