Based on a vintage pair of Swiss work trousers, these have been brought up to date with an elastic waistband. The fabric is a rich indigo with a subtle herringbone pattern, and the trousers include a tool pocket on the wearer’s right side. The result is the perfect hybrid: a pants that’s dressy enough for the work week yet feels like the weekend. It’s polished enough to pair with a sportcoat yet relaxed enough for a hike. If there were an official pant for the New Normal, we’d nominate The Herringbone Utility Pant.
Pant fabric was nice, but the elastic waistband stretches too much (tried both Medium and Small). Had to return both pair.
