Founded by Michael Drake in 1977 in London’s East End, with a philosophy rooted in producing timeless pieces that has a relaxed elegance to them. Drakes started out producing scarves and shawls for high-end fashion boutiques and tailoring houses. It wasn’t long before they began branching out into the ties and pocket squares for which the brand is now known.

Beautifully made, nicely fitting braces

I wear braces to work, for social events with sport coats or suits. These fit me readily and I’m 6’4” so I don’t know what another reviewer is complained by about Most manufacturers only make 1 size for their product. These are on par with Dooney and Bourne, Trafalgar and RL Polo braces bit their narrow calibre reduces the load on the shoulders, and one is really not aware that they are on and doing their job. The only braces I like better are from the Paris Company from the thirties through the 60s, which are a 4 strap design that are also narrow caliber but are just a touch more comfortable. Brooks Bros made a retro edition of these for their Great Gatsby line about 4 years ago. They’re worth trying, too, but theae Drake braces are really nice.
