Danner Mountain Light II in Dark Brown

Just as I expected they look so much better in person than they do online. Premium quality leather, plus comfort and durability and I really dig the look of green laces over the dark brown leather. (pine tree forest vibes) Went out shopping in them last weekend and got three compliments from total strangers on em. (all dudes but still it’s cool)

a strong shoe, but very stiff soled and with a folded snow cover that presses strangely and may break in if i wade in enough streams and walk till theyre dry. Also find that with now a seventy year old hikers feet, the various pressure points, left to leather breakdown to solve, hurt in the meantime. The scree collar presses on my achilles uncomfortably. My previous Danner mountain boots of forty years ago, I do remember blistering me till I walked them into submission: Now, I may just be too old to ever accomplish that.
