Where you can spend approximately $700 on an overcoat straight from the runway that comes without a garment bag, and delivered to the wrong address. Expecting a luxurious delivery experience? Think again, as the company refuses to use UPS as the carrier. As for the coat itself, it has a moderate weight, excellent zippers, and a packed hand. If I didn’t know any better I’d assume it used synthetic fibers in the wool blend, but it’s a 90 wool /10 polyamide blend. I tend to wear a large or x-large. However, I got a medium as that was what was left and the medium feels fine! There’s a bit of tightness in the sleeve, but the length is perfect and I have long arms. The print is not as vibrant in person. You’d need to wear other colors to bring out the print. The coat really needs a back vent. It hits below the knee and when you walk with it zipped, it bunches around the calf and rides up cause there isn’t a vent. This is not a coat you’d wear below 30 degrees without layering. Overall, Todd Snyder needs to do better all around given the price points. The fabrics and materials warrant some of the cost for the most part. However, the construction and overall experience is not luxurious! This is my third overcoat from the brand, amongst other purchases.
