In 1936 when Leon Leonwood Bean first introduced these shoes, he compared them to the unique comfort of a handmade Indian moccasin. That soft, custom-made feel is still apparent in each shoe sewn today.

Olive the tint is much lighter in the green and the leather. Having had Sperrys for much of my life I know the color will wear down but was looking forward to having it be closer to what is shown in the photo.
The color portrayed on the website photos is way off. It says olive green but depicts a shade of brown. I expected to get what I saw in the photo. The shade of green that I got doesn’t match well with anything. I figured they would be comfortable out of the box but the sole is very hard and hurts my feet after anymore than 4 hours of wearing . 250$ for this shoe is very high for what I got. I don’t recommend these.
I concur with the above reviews in that these are GREEN/OLIVE on the upper portions, not brown as shown. That being said, it’s a good olive color if you want to pair with brown/greens/fall colors. Shoes are hefty (as noted above), but that’s what makes them cool. Think—boat shoes for the fall. Sizing is pretty consistent with sneaker (NOT dress shoe sizing). I wear a 9 in Nikes and Adidas, 8.5 in dress shoes (eg, Allen and edmonds) and a 9 in these is perfect. Also, give ‘em a few wears. Wouldn’t pay $350 but at $100, get em!
Very nice shoe. Other reviews are correct color is not properly represented, still works for me.
The leather part is straight up green and the suede part is a light tan.
