Todd, a longtime L.L.Bean collector and fan, chose some of the most iconic pieces from the L.L.Bean archives, then reinvented them with a modern sensibility and premium materials. Inspired by L.L.Bean's 1927 Cruiser Boot, one of the original variations of the Maine Hunting Shoe. Todd’s reworked it in a waterproof, upcycled canvas that’s repurposed from surplus military bags and tents. Still, it remains true to the original vision. "I was quite interested in getting the right kind of footwear for deer hunting," wrote L.L. Bean in his autobiography about what led him to invent this new field boot with a rubber vamp and sole that would keep feet dry. Nearly a century after he patented his classic, it is still a Made in The USA.
