Todd Snyder

Italian Moleskin Carpenter Pant in Ivory

1 item left

Todd took the silhouette of a Japanese workman’s trouser and adapted it into what we think of as the ultimate fall-winter trouser--a combination of the rugged cool of workwear and the polish of Italian moleskin. (Ours come from the famous Sondrio mill). Moleskin gets its name because the cotton fabric is meant to simulate the velvety soft pelt of a mole. Once used in field clothing to protect the wearer from brambles, it lends a sturdy elegance to a number of key styles including this authentic workwear pant, our Moleskin Work Shirts and our straight-fitting Moleskin Carpenter Pant. Design details include a tool pocket on the wearer’s right leg and a hammer loop on the wearer’r left hip. Our Moleskin comes with a hint of stretch for ease of movement and has a soft handfeel.
