Victory Sportswear started in 1982 when Bart and Jan Hersey began making custom running shoes in a converted Maine sheep barn. In 2007 Stephen Keoseian, a third generation cobbler, bought the company and moved its headquarters to his hometown Fitchburg, Massachusetts. There Stephen and his dad make their running shoes by hand. Design details on these exclusive styles include nubby Vibram soles, custom co-branded label, vegetable tanned leather heel, tab and tongue. This is a  gentleman's runner that multitasks–the perfect lo-fi footwear for a suit, sweats, jeans and a cardigan. We are proud to partner with this small business who makes their shoes here in the USA.

Love the look; Unconventional Fit

These are incredibly versatile and handsome shoes. But they don’t feel like a modern running shoe, or a modern shoe for that matter. I hadn’t intended to use them for running in the first place, so it’s not a deal breaker. But they aren’t as molded as modern shoes (running or cole Hahn business casual). They also run big. I wear a size 11 in Nike/Adidas and ended up with a 10.5, which i still think is a little big. The sizing engine said i should be an 11, but they were huge. A recommended purchase, but you should know what you’re getting. We’ll see how they break in.
