For milder months and for layering, Todd wanted a sweatshirt that looked solid yet felt light--the sort of sweatshirt that would work for a cool spring morning, a summer beach cookout of slide effortlessly under a sportcoat. The unlock was a soft yet sold-looking French terry cloth that’s made from Peruvian cotton and then pigment dyed, so the fabric looks washed and broken-in from the first wear. Clocking in at 250 grams, our Surf Terry sweats are loaded with vintage details including cover stitching on all exterior seams, raglan sleeves and an auxiliary label on the wearer’s left hem.

Great material but the sleeves are too long and the neck opening too wide

Bought this last year. I really love this sweatshirt, but I think I got a lemon, the arms were too long (on my long arms!) and the neck was a bit wide. I'm regretting not exchanging it last year after I got it. I had assumed a wash or two would help. Sadly, it just takes up space in my closet.

Weight of the fabric is perfect for those summer nights that are not quite cool enough for a hoodie but to cool for just a t-shirt. Beautiful indigo blue.

What I expected

A comfortable sweatshirt but not the typical TS fit. I have many TS sweatshirts size S and this one is more loose fitting - probably could have ordered an XS and fit just perfect. Fabric is good. The made in US/Canada will always be the best in terms of quality and sizing!
