Inspired by a vintage collegiate sweatshirt, Todd gave our classic midweight sweats and joggers these contrasting color blocks. The fabric is a soft yet sold feeling French Terry that clocks in at 16 ounces.Featuring an “after hood,” meaning a hood that’s attached to a traditional crewneck body, this sweatshirt is a symphony of three classic Champion grays (Salt & Pepper, Oatmeal and Light Grey Mix). It has a unique detail–two angled hand pockets instead of the more common kangaroo-style ones. This is made at WS & Co. a family-owned factory in Canada that still uses old-fashioned Union Special flatlock machines that allow us to recreate the quality of vintage sweatshirts while still making them look on-trend. Says WS president Kathy Cheng , “Our attitude isn’t just ‘make it.’ We’re thinking about the consumer and how they’re going to feel about a sweatshirt after its 100th wash.”
