Slim Fit Stretch Jean in Ink Wash

Please note: All sales final for this item.

Our denim comes in three distinct categories (Stretch, Selvedge and Small Batch), for the same reason that sometimes you want an artisanal sipping whiskey,  and others a draft beer. The Stretch Ink Wash jean has all the quality and vintage-inspired design details of our Selvedge jeans but in a unique Stretch fabric that will convert even the most resolute denim purist. The Medium Ink Wash is a darker shade of blue than our popular Medium Indigo, and it is designed to invoke a dark, vintage denim. To enhance the broken-in look, there is some sanding through the thighs and knees plus whiskering behind the knees. (Whiskering are streaks created in denim. These pale and ghost-like lines are created because the color in the fabric sits at the surface and fades to a white whisker at spots that get a lot of action such as a pocket that carries an iPhone). Classic design details include antique copper rivets, chain stitching on the coin pocket, a suede-embossed patch on the back and TS embroidery on the wearer’s right side. This is perfect jean who wants the authentic look  of vintage denim with the comfort of stretch.

Perfect fit for not so slim guys

Contrary to what another review said, these are definitely a slim fit. I am on the muscular side but not large by any means and these are some of the only jeans that fit perfect without literally choking my legs. If you are a stick, these are not marketed as "skinny" fit so maybe look for something smaller than slim.

Holy smoke!

I didn't know what to expect when I bought these as I was led here by an article on the best jeans. But these are the best looking/most comfortable jeans I've ever owned. I wear them all the time and they always look good. You can tell they're made of quality materials and won't fall apart after a few washes or less than a year of wear. Will be buying more in the future.

Not "slim fit"

While the quality is very nice, these jeans definitely are not "slim fit." In fact the fit borders on a relaxed fit. I even sized down one size and the fit is still far too baggy. Also, the oversized back pockets are not very flattering in appearance. This is the second "slim fit" jeans that I have purchased from Todd Snyder with the same problem. They should either correct the styling of these jeans or advertise with more accuracy.

Great jeans, wrong color.

Giving these a 3/5 because the color in online photos is misleading. They are definitely much darker of a wash in person. The fit and quality is great, though. I am keeping them because I do like them as is. They just are not what I expected.
