not as pictured
Same as last years limited made in the USA jeans, these do not match what is pictured. Much darker and less faded. No quality control. Also, there are always 5 star reviews posted right after negative ones.

LIMITED EDITION: Our denim comes in distinct categories (Stretch, Selvedge and Small Batch), for the same reason that sometimes you want an artisanal sipping whiskey, and others a draft beer. The Made in USA Selvedge is our most premium jean, what we call Small Batch Denim. Created in partnership with denim guru Eric Goldstein, whose credits include Jean Shop and RRL, it’s woven at Vidalia Mills in Vidalia, Louisiana.
Vidalia is quickly becoming famous among aficionados for its “farm-to-yarn” denim as the cotton is locally grown, then woven on Vidalia's Draper looms, many of which were acquired from the late mythic White Oak Plant in Greensboro, North Carolina. It takes about two hours for each of these machines to weave enough fabric for one pair of jeans. The denim is rope-dyed in genuine indigo and then cut and sewn in Los Angeles.
This is the denim equivalent of cutting a soul album at Muscle Shoals.
The Muddy Knee Jeanrecreates the marbling, whiskering and wear patterns of a favorite pair of jeans. The original color of the selvedge fabric was a dark, rich indigo, but in real denim the blue color sits near the surface and wears away over time revealing the white fabric beneath and creating the ghostly outlines on a pocket of where the owner kept his iPhone. On this pair the knees are heavily abraded. Much of the detail work on these jeans is done by hand using sandpaper and a Dremel tool.Classic design details include antique copper rivets, chain stitching on the coin pocket, a suede-embossed patch on the back and TS embroidery on the wearer’s right side. This is the perfect jean for someone who is looking for an heirloom without the time or hard-living to make one.The fit is slim through the hip and thigh, with a tapered leg that has a 14-inch circumference. The jean will be a little stiff and maybe even a tad snug when you first wear it, but it will mold to your body and loosen up overtime. Or as Goldstein says, “You’ve got to earn that fit.”

I have many pairs of raw denim from all the hardcore denim brands. These are by far the best quality and fit I’ve had. Excited to start the break in and fading journey with these. Todd Snyder is owning the denim game with these!
The jeans do not match the pictures. Took 4 weeks to arrive (even though they are supposedly US made?) and still are darker than the images showed. I have a pair of Katos, nudie, and everlanes and these are by far the worst of the bunch. Save your money.
I love the quality and old fashioned details of these jeans. Jeans for grown ups you can wear anywhere. I also feel like these were a great value for the quality, versatility, and for how long I will be able to wear a timeless classic.
For a pair of jean to be at this price point, and that I am new to raw selvedge jeans, I did look around at the many options out there. Also, read the miriad of online info/reviews covering this topic. Which led me to selecting these slim raws from TS. Having dealt with great TS customer service for returns and/or exchanges I felt comfortable ordering my true size (34 with TS jeans), then opting for the next size down, 33s that fit so much better. And knowing they likely will stretch, rather than shrink. The quality is fantastic, love the stitching and details. Liked these so much, I pulled the trigger on the Made in US rigid jacket. Been a few years since I last had a jean jacket.
