Inspired by vintage mountaineering gear, this is one serious parka, crafted with a recycled goose down filling and a water-repellent nylon exterior that comes to us from Japan. The goose down clocks in at a700 power fill, meaning its super-warm yet not too bulky. (Fill measures how many cubic inches of loft one ounce of the down produces. Higher fill numbers, as in this coat, indicate greater loft and insulating efficiency.) Aside from packing serious heat, the coat is loaded with old-school design details including two oversize patch and flap pockets at the bottom with hidden hand pockets beneath them, a stand hood at the neck to shut the cold out and leather hood adjuster. In short, this coat looks stylish as it laughs at the Polar Vortex.

Nice coat, but not worth the original retail price.

Decent coat and I love the camo pattern but not the greatest winter coat I've ever had. The coat is very oversized. I'm usually a true large but with this coat I had to exchange for a medium since the large felt like an xxl. The photos and description say the coat comes with leather toggles for the hood but it doesn't. Neither the large I originally got or medium came with it. Also the product tag doesn't say the coat is made from goose down as the product description page says. It only states that it is made from 100% nylon. Not a big issue for me but it is lack of attention to detail and if I ever decide to sell it I have no proof that this coat is made with down. Overall not a bad coat but would only recommend if you get it at a reduced price.

Not Bad for the sale price

This coat is inspired by vintage mountaineer gear. So, don't expect things like storm cuffs. the sleeves are slightly too short but not a real deal-breaker. sizing is fine, it is supposed to have an oversized fit. Is a good coat at the 50 % sales price and would have been a hard sell for me at full retail.
