Vintage Bean silhouettes — including anoraks and baggie-style shorts, recycled fleece, and archival L.L. Bean logos from the 1980s — are just some of the elements that come together to create the “Maine-ah” Collection. Or, as Todd says of these comfy-chic pieces, “[They’re] the sort of warm-weather styles that a guy would wear for a beach hike during the day before relaxing by a campfire at night.”
This comfortable shirt offers the best of both worlds, matching rugged detailing with exceptional softness. It’s a versatile midweight fabric with just enough stretch, in plaids and prints inspired by vintage L.L. Bean patterns. This is a very nice and well made shirt, but it is VERY oversized. I'm 6'4" and I normally would wear a XL or maybe even a XXL depending on the slim fit, but with these shirts I actually had to go L which is crazy. Just something to keep in mind.
